H.O.P.E. ...

This is the Hope 4 U Message Bracelet

If you do not know the Hope 4 U Message yet,

When I saw this piece on the PBS News Hour
https://www.pbs.org/newshour/amp/show/an-icu-nurse-on-wavering-between-confidence-and-fear#referrer=https://www.google.com

It reminded me of what the World needs most right now is...
HOPE

H.O.P.E.
Helping Other People Evolve

In 1939, Franklin D Roosevelt said, within the State of the Union Address
"To save one we must now make up our minds to save all..."

This is where we are with COVID-19.
We must, maybe for the 1st time in our lives,
Think about the fact that our very next action could save a Life.

Will you stay home until the powers-that-be advise otherwise?
Will you postpone plans at any indication that you might be a carrier?
Will you wear a mask to protect yourself and others?

Will you get tested to determine if you have had the virus?
Will you get tested to determine if you have the antibodies to the virus?
Will you donate blood so that someone who needs the antibodies can live?

Will you care enough to offer others H.O.P.E?

I did. I am. I will.

Will you?

One of the Blessings of Alzheimer's...

As most of the World today, I have a plethora of major decisions to be selected, however, I just have not had the emotional energy to make the time to do so. The VIP time I really wanted to spend this week was with my eldest brother, Jim, who has Alzheimer's.

With the 'stay at home' requests in place it had been a good piece of time since I had driven anywhere, nevertheless taken a 90-minute drive to another county. Yet, this would give my youngest brother and his wife a break from overseeing his care daily, so I made the trip.

For those who are concerned about the present COVID-19 challenges, they should spend a long weekend with someone who has Alzheimer's. Visiting with someone who has no care in the world other than his or her very next thought is, in an odd way, refreshing.

Being reminded that the very last thought passes, and never will again be regained, helped me put everything that is going on in this world today into its proper perspective. I asked my brother if he had any pearls of wisdom that I could share and as he spoke, I took his picture.

"Remember We Are the UNITED States of America

Remember to Social Distance Arm Length Apart

Remember to Keep a Positive Attitude"

Funny how a person who has a challenge remembering was instrumental in reminding me what is truly important.

I am now back at Peace.

The Day That Really Matters...

When first becoming a resident of Florida in 1984, it was clear that looking up was something that was done more often here than in Indiana. Most likely because the tropical skies are so beautifully blue year round. Yet, having nature rarely displaced due to weather, focusing skyward to observe the birds building their nests becomes part of your every day.

What was noticed today was the building of oversized nests. One particular bird landed on a wire, close to the nest with a rather long twig, appearing to attempt to discern where was the twig going to be placed. It was clear, even through the eyes of a wingless mortal, that there was already more than normal stacked layer upon layer.

The realization that these times are so uncertain that even the birds are plentifully planning ahead made this mortal feel a little less angst. There was suddenly an awareness that we are as is often spoken today 'in this together'...and not just mortals but every living, breathing factor that exists.

Yes, we're all in this together and we will all get through it...together. 'Together' is why Jesus was sent here. 'Together' is why He was willing to endure a Life and death of much grief. 'Together' is why He rose from the grave. 'Together' is why we were blessed with an opportunity to be filled with and live through the Holy Spirit.

Tomorrow...the day that Hope is celebrated.

Tomorrow...the day that brings it all 'Together'...

Tomorrow...THAT is the day that really matters.

Why We Never Give Up...

We are the United States of America.

We are the Land of the Free.

We are the land where dreams CAN come true.

We are the land where castles can be built.

We are the land whose currency says, "In God We Trust".

And in God we trust.

We trust that long-term good is being created through the havoc of today.

We trust that we can believe that We The People are being led to be a better people.

We trust that good word of the ages will guide us to become the best we can be.

We watch, we listen, we learn.

Watch, listen and learn because this is the message we need for today.

Watch, listen and learn to have Peace in this storm.

We Hope And We Wait...

In addition to physical and financial challenges that COVID-19 has thus brought, an upswing with experiencing higher levels of angst, doubt, and confusion is a 'given'. One of the blessings of being a person who has suffered from C-PTSD an entire life is that one becomes a pro at working around anxiety, doubt and confusion.

Many tools have been gained through a process to divert angst into positive energy, but you first have to be willing to 'dig in'. Get some tips from...https://missdebcan.com/mental-w-illness

Try to 'dig in' to these questions: 'What are you most passionate about?' and 'How can I use my passion to make a positive difference?'

My number one passion is Hope. Regardless of situations or challenges at hand, the desire to come to a level of Hope is foremost.

How does one find Hope amid not just a pandemic, but one caused by a virus that is new to us, therefore unpredictable? The challenges are creating so many twists and turns that we can not be sure whether we are driving in the right direction or, even at times, still on the best road.

It is difficult to realize Hope during such challenging seasons as pandemics and losing loved ones. There are times that it gets complicated to wrap the mind around the 'why' of it all. Although answers often cannot be found readily, they do come with a little digging and the sooner we 'dig in' for answers and plant new seeds, the faster they come.

Benjamin Franklin, that 'crazy' man who stood out in the rain, praying to get hit by lightning, reportedly said..."By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail." I see our mortal man duty in all of this is to 'dig in' now to discern what seeds to plant and then 'wait'.

In what ways can I show that I have Faith that there is a long-term plan for good?
What can I do to ensure that my family is best prepared to meet Today's challenges?
What good seeds can I plant and looking back, say, "We are a better people for it."

Trust and stay in the Hope of knowing that the ultimate good is the long-term goal. I found this scripture quite appropriate for this season: "Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded." James 4:8

Stay informed, thus aware of how you can be best prepared for Self, Family and Community. Proverbs 22:3 instructs us that a person can be prepared by watching for the trouble and avoiding it, so pay close attention to what is actually going on.

It is predicted that Florida will probably be known as the new 'hot spot' for the virus for the next 3 months. We are praying that it actually does get hot enough here in Florida this summer.

After we have practised washing our hands, not touching our faces and social distancing for a reasonable length of time, the virus hopefully will not be able to continue spreading.

What do we do on an individual basis in the meantime?

Gather and store for the next 3 months to ensure that your family's needs will be met...not hoard, just 'meet' the needs of your loved ones.

Share your Faith, talents and blessings. Teach others to share His word, individual skills and extra gifts, inspiring others to do the same.

"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms." I Peter 4:10

What gifts has God given you that you can share with others?

In what ways can you combine a small gift with another's small gift to increase a benefit to share with many?

THIS IS THE TIME TO 'DIG IN'!

ASK AND ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS
PLANT YOUR SEEDS ... AND "WAIT"

THERE IS HOPE FOR US ALL

Balance is Important...Even When Juggling

For the past couple of weeks, the autobiography was to move along from age 6 through age 10, but this week the importance of keeping others better informed regarding protection against the COVID-19 virus again takes priority.

The better informed we are and we apply the information that we gain to our everyday lives, the more quickly we will be able to get back to balancing our lives...instead of trying to juggle them, often feeling out of control.

Thus far, this is the most informative and reader-friendly, so please go to the link, become educated on how to protect yourself and others through the World Information Org now.

The Times They Are a-Changin

Last week the autobiography was to move along from age 6 through age 10, but rather shared some pertinent information regarding how to protect yourself against any type of virus.

This week is similar as it is powerfully important to share again some very important information so that you are better prepared to discern what will be your next best step for you and or your family if any symptoms appear.

Review the chart above. Save the information and refer to it for you and or your family to help you discern when to obtain a medical professional's opinion concerning your present health.

There is going to be a webinar this coming week that is available to you here. Extremely important information will be discussed regarding nutrition and your immune system. Attend if you can...it will be literally priceless.

Stay safe and God's speed if any challenges arise.
