The Day That Really Matters...

When first becoming a resident of Florida in 1984, it was clear that looking up was something that was done more often here than in Indiana. Most likely because the tropical skies are so beautifully blue year round. Yet, having nature rarely displaced due to weather, focusing skyward to observe the birds building their nests becomes part of your every day.

What was noticed today was the building of oversized nests. One particular bird landed on a wire, close to the nest with a rather long twig, appearing to attempt to discern where was the twig going to be placed. It was clear, even through the eyes of a wingless mortal, that there was already more than normal stacked layer upon layer.

The realization that these times are so uncertain that even the birds are plentifully planning ahead made this mortal feel a little less angst. There was suddenly an awareness that we are as is often spoken today 'in this together'...and not just mortals but every living, breathing factor that exists.

Yes, we're all in this together and we will all get through it...together. 'Together' is why Jesus was sent here. 'Together' is why He was willing to endure a Life and death of much grief. 'Together' is why He rose from the grave. 'Together' is why we were blessed with an opportunity to be filled with and live through the Holy Spirit.

Tomorrow...the day that Hope is celebrated.

Tomorrow...the day that brings it all 'Together'...

Tomorrow...THAT is the day that really matters.

Why We Never Give Up...

We are the United States of America.

We are the Land of the Free.

We are the land where dreams CAN come true.

We are the land where castles can be built.

We are the land whose currency says, "In God We Trust".

And in God we trust.

We trust that long-term good is being created through the havoc of today.

We trust that we can believe that We The People are being led to be a better people.

We trust that good word of the ages will guide us to become the best we can be.

We watch, we listen, we learn.

Watch, listen and learn because this is the message we need for today.

Watch, listen and learn to have Peace in this storm.

We Hope And We Wait...

In addition to physical and financial challenges that COVID-19 has thus brought, an upswing with experiencing higher levels of angst, doubt, and confusion is a 'given'. One of the blessings of being a person who has suffered from C-PTSD an entire life is that one becomes a pro at working around anxiety, doubt and confusion.

Many tools have been gained through a process to divert angst into positive energy, but you first have to be willing to 'dig in'. Get some tips from...https://missdebcan.com/mental-w-illness

Try to 'dig in' to these questions: 'What are you most passionate about?' and 'How can I use my passion to make a positive difference?'

My number one passion is Hope. Regardless of situations or challenges at hand, the desire to come to a level of Hope is foremost.

How does one find Hope amid not just a pandemic, but one caused by a virus that is new to us, therefore unpredictable? The challenges are creating so many twists and turns that we can not be sure whether we are driving in the right direction or, even at times, still on the best road.

It is difficult to realize Hope during such challenging seasons as pandemics and losing loved ones. There are times that it gets complicated to wrap the mind around the 'why' of it all. Although answers often cannot be found readily, they do come with a little digging and the sooner we 'dig in' for answers and plant new seeds, the faster they come.

Benjamin Franklin, that 'crazy' man who stood out in the rain, praying to get hit by lightning, reportedly said..."By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail." I see our mortal man duty in all of this is to 'dig in' now to discern what seeds to plant and then 'wait'.

In what ways can I show that I have Faith that there is a long-term plan for good?
What can I do to ensure that my family is best prepared to meet Today's challenges?
What good seeds can I plant and looking back, say, "We are a better people for it."

Trust and stay in the Hope of knowing that the ultimate good is the long-term goal. I found this scripture quite appropriate for this season: "Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded." James 4:8

Stay informed, thus aware of how you can be best prepared for Self, Family and Community. Proverbs 22:3 instructs us that a person can be prepared by watching for the trouble and avoiding it, so pay close attention to what is actually going on.

It is predicted that Florida will probably be known as the new 'hot spot' for the virus for the next 3 months. We are praying that it actually does get hot enough here in Florida this summer.

After we have practised washing our hands, not touching our faces and social distancing for a reasonable length of time, the virus hopefully will not be able to continue spreading.

What do we do on an individual basis in the meantime?

Gather and store for the next 3 months to ensure that your family's needs will be met...not hoard, just 'meet' the needs of your loved ones.

Share your Faith, talents and blessings. Teach others to share His word, individual skills and extra gifts, inspiring others to do the same.

"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms." I Peter 4:10

What gifts has God given you that you can share with others?

In what ways can you combine a small gift with another's small gift to increase a benefit to share with many?

THIS IS THE TIME TO 'DIG IN'!

ASK AND ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS
PLANT YOUR SEEDS ... AND "WAIT"

THERE IS HOPE FOR US ALL

Balance is Important...Even When Juggling

For the past couple of weeks, the autobiography was to move along from age 6 through age 10, but this week the importance of keeping others better informed regarding protection against the COVID-19 virus again takes priority.

The better informed we are and we apply the information that we gain to our everyday lives, the more quickly we will be able to get back to balancing our lives...instead of trying to juggle them, often feeling out of control.

Thus far, this is the most informative and reader-friendly, so please go to the link, become educated on how to protect yourself and others through the World Information Org now.

The Times They Are a-Changin

Last week the autobiography was to move along from age 6 through age 10, but rather shared some pertinent information regarding how to protect yourself against any type of virus.

This week is similar as it is powerfully important to share again some very important information so that you are better prepared to discern what will be your next best step for you and or your family if any symptoms appear.

Review the chart above. Save the information and refer to it for you and or your family to help you discern when to obtain a medical professional's opinion concerning your present health.

There is going to be a webinar this coming week that is available to you here. Extremely important information will be discussed regarding nutrition and your immune system. Attend if you can...it will be literally priceless.

Stay safe and God's speed if any challenges arise.

Avoid Self-Fulfilling Prophecies

This week's blog was to cover memories from the age of 6 years of age through the 10 years of age, however, I do believe there is something more important at hand.

When I was introduced to essential oils a couple of years ago and integrated them into my Lifestyle, the positive changes that it made in the strength of my immune system was remarkable.

The images above are of Petri dishes in which our every-day cleaners were tested to compare how each performed compared to the use of Thieves and Oregano essential oils and a Thieves cleaner.

The Coronavirus is threatening every area of our lives through the panic mentality that is being encouraged in most of the media today, yet we can be prudent concerning how to address it. Coronavirus does not have to be a self-fulfilling prophecy.

How to address the ongoing threat is, of course, per individual needs. My eldest brother is 77-years old with the only ailment being Alzheimer's, thus, I felt comfortable taking him out in public today.

The good news is that we visited an outlet mall for lunch and there were families everywhere with no masks, no hiding, and no sign of distress anywhere.

There is even better news. We can easily protect ourselves over this next 12-18 months to avoid any lasting exposure to the virus while permanently strengthening our immune systems.

Review all of the following information and become proactive in increasing your protection for Today's times, while empowering yourself and your loved ones with even better health for the future.

There is ALWAYS Hope

Odd-looking back at 0-10. I will make it as far as I can this week. If mentally overtaxing, I hope to get to 10 next week.

Seriously, how much does one remember during those ages?

Even if memory is minimal, somehow, we do remember the most impactive, whether it be positive or negative…, the old pleasure or pain theory.

There were 3 boys born before me. I recall, on numerous occasions, my mother would tell that my father wanted a little girl so very much that he just could not believe it when he was informed a girl had finally arrived. That’s sweet. However, it was always followed by a ‘funny’ part: Stripping off my diaper to ensure that finally, a girl had arrived. She delighted, in a fashion, bragging about that.

As a young child, it meant heads or tails to me, but as I got older, it made me realize
That the dye had been cast at birth. I was ‘his’.

Of course, I do not remember the glorious moment…I was a newborn. Yet, when reflecting back over the years, that ‘glorious moment’ embossed on my brain through repetition of hearing, gave me some insight as to why a beautiful blue-eyed, blonde little girl…the ONLY girl…born into an oil-well owner family, would increasingly display such outlandish behaviour.

As well, I do not recall falling and busting my lip open between the age of 1 ½ to 2, a scar that is visible to this day. Yes, toddlers fall and split their mouths open, among other areas of their tiny bodies. But as you will learn to understand, when one is beaten until the age of 18 years by a parent and later by husbands, it is worth considering that even the physical abuse began at a very young age.

We lived in Evansville when I was born, and we were transferred to Virginia Beach when I was still a toddler. I do not recall any of those years other than anxiety. My Aunt Jenny, who had all boys, always wanted a girl. She shared with me that my behaviour was so out of control that my mother would lock me in a room while playing cards. She sensed but never knew.

Whenever I was locked in my room, I would scream, cry, beat and scratch on the door begging to be released. Reportedly, when Aunt Jenny would urge my mother to let me out, my mother would tell my father to go ‘calm her down’. Even as a toddler, I knew whatever was going on should not be happening and tried to be heard. You will discover the plethora of ways I tried to be ‘heard’ as the years and abuse progressed.

We moved again from Virginia Beach to Birmingham. Why? My father was in the Navy. Last I checked, there are nor have there been Naval bases in Birmingham. Many questions still go unanswered as to why were we moved consistently - a dozen-plus times - if it were not due to military assignments? I believe that we were moved continuously because of either teacher, neighbour, church member, etc. beginning to make a comment.

Now, you and I both know that in the ’50s, there was no public recognition or assistance for children who were abused. Whether you were being molested by your father regularly or beaten by your mother afterwards, due to the guilt she could not live with being the Appropriator, there was no public awareness, public assist or anywhere to hide. You just followed the path of those who ‘loved’ you.

Who is being loved healthily, ways to recognize when the actions are not healthy, and how to get help to change it? I stopped incest in my family. My Hope, through offering full disclosure of 6 decades of being abused, in one form or another, and how I reached wellness is to appropriate positive change.

If even one Soul begins to identify with the subtle signs of a child that is being abused, a parent who is beating or molesting, an Adult victim who continues to be ‘loved’ in an unhealthy way and positive change takes place…PROGRESS.

O.k., we moved to Birmingham in 1954, so I made it to the 5th year of Life! This is harder than I thought it would be.

But I’ll get there because I am FULLON2020 to live the BEST Life I can, leaving all the negative behind…and SO CAN YOU!
